Night and Day: Two woman exhibition at Ryan Art Gallery Photos

In front of some of my art.

Some fun shots after the crowds left with fellow artist RogerSF wearing one of his shirt designs. It was a great show with a lot of nice people and new friends. Linda Ryan did an amazing job with the show and the wine and art crawl in Livermore. Thanks Linda!

Two Woman Show Starting This Month

I will be participating in a two woman show at Ryan Art Gallery in Livermore starting this month with fellow painter Courtney Jacobs. I hope that you might be able to make it by the show at some point or come out to the reception on March 26th during the Livermore Art and Wine Crawl.

March 16th to April 10th

A two woman show juxtaposing the fluid color of abstract painter Courtney Jacobs with the gently muted layered figurative and abstract paintings of Sola Sawyerr.

The East Bay Area Figurative Exhibition Photos

The artist reception for The East Bay Area Figurative Exhibition at the Ryan Fine Art Gallery in Livermore was great. Linda and her staff did a wonderful job with the show. There were a lot of people in and out of the gallery all night despite the rain. Here are some pictures from the end of the evening.

The East Bay Area Figurative Exhibition

Two of my paintings, along with many others by talented painters including my friend
Courtney Jacobs, were juried into The East Bay Area Figurative Exhibition that is celebrating The Bay Area Abstract Figurative Movement that was spearheaded by many famous artists from The San Francisco Art Institute during the 40's and 50's and how this movement might have influenced various artists or started them working on their own figurative journey.

During the exhibition the city of Livermore
will also be having their Art & Wine Crawl.
