Painting accepted in a juried exhibition at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago

I am happy to announce that I recently found out my painting, "Only Hers," was accepted into a juried exhibition called Family Album at Woman Made Gallery. Karen Irvine juried over 450 images that were submitted for "Family Album" and chose 31 pieces of art for the exhibition. The exhibition runs from November 20-December 23, 2009 in Chicago, IL at 685 N. Milwaukee Ave 60642 for anyone who is in the area. Hope you can check out the show or the online gallery.

It was a great show for all the artists; myself, Kimberly Mowbray, and Justin Borsuk. I am very happy that so many people came out to see the work and support me at this show. It was also nice to meet so many new people. Thank you to everyone!

Spring Show Salon Piece

My mom and I did not make it to the Salon show before it closed because we were at the spring show but we got a great view of it from outside.
I am really happy about how it looks even at night.

My Graduation, Spring Show and Spring Show Salon

Hi everyone! So me and a bunch of other AAU folks will be graduating this year and therefore going through our AAU commencement ceremonies this Wednesday (@ the Cow Palace.)

And then on Thursday is the AAU annual Spring Show (reception 7pm @ 601 Brannan.) There is also the Salon Show (@ 79 New Montgomery up until June 12th.....I got a piece in this show so come check it out also.)
